CUSG Election Outreach Coordinator

CUSG is currently seeking to fill the role of Election Outreach Coordinator. The Election Outreach Coordinator assists the CUSG Election Commissioner with promoting and organizing CUSG’s Fall and Spring elections. This is a nonpartisan position responsible for helping students understand when, where, and how to vote. This position requires a student with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Experience with social media, events, volunteers, or graphic design is also preferred.

CUSG Election Candidate Affairs Coordinator

CUSG is currently seeking to fill the role of Election Candidate Affairs Coordinator. The Election Candidate Affairs Coordinator assists the CUSG Election Commissioner with candidate communications and administration of CUSG’s fall and spring elections. This is a nonpartisan position responsible for helping candidates understand election requirements and receive consistent, accurate information. This role requires strong communication, organization, and conflict-management skills, along with the ability to understand and consistently apply detailed rules.

CU Student Government First Year Intern

The CU Student Government Intern Program offers students, especially freshman, an excellent opportunity to get involved and learn the inner workings of both student government and the administrative functions of the University of Colorado Boulder. Interns will work 5-10 hours per week and receive a paid stipend while gaining valuable experience in leadership, campus governance, and university operations. With multiple positions available, this is the perfect way to develop skills, build connections, and make an impact on campus. Freshmen are highly encouraged to apply!

There are 7 Intern Spots Available:

Chief of Staff Intern
Supports the Chief of Staff and Tri-Executives by coordinating operations, scheduling, and communication across CUSG.

Government Affairs Intern
Assists in drafting policy, tracking legislation, and liaising with university administration to advance student priorities.

Finance Intern
Works with the Finance Director and Finance Board to analyze budgets, review funding requests, and ensure transparent financial reporting.

Student Engagement Intern
Helps plan and promote events like Homecoming and the Mental Health Awareness week to increase campus involvement.

Judicial Intern
Supports the Appellate Court by preparing case materials, organizing documentation, and upholding constitutional processes.

Strategic Communications Intern
Manages messaging through social media, press releases, and campaigns to amplify student voices and CUSG initiatives.

Diversity and Inclusion Intern
Supports programming and outreach to underrepresented groups, fostering equity and inclusivity on campus.
