The curriculum for a Professional Certificate in Museology requires a minimum of 12 credit hours taken from the core museology sequence of the Museum and Field Studies Masters degree program.
The required courses are: 5011: Intro. to Museums (4)
And three of the following five courses: 5030: Museum Education (3) 5051: Collections Management (3) 5031: Exhibit Development (3) 5041: Museum Administration (3) 6110: Advanced Seminar in Museum Issues (or similar advanced seminar)
Monday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm Sunday: 10 am – 4 pm The museum is closed on all University holidays.
