The CU in DC program gives CMCI undergraduate students internship and coursework experience in Washington D.C. for one semester in the fall, spring or summer.
CU in DC works in collaboration with The Washington Media Institute (WMI) to provide students with an internship and coursework focused on the media.
Through weekly seminars, networking opportunities and premier internships at top media organizations, the WMI program bridges the gaps between the information taught in traditional media classes and the skills students need to succeed in the professional world.
Students earn full CU credit for their internship and coursework and never need to worry about transferring credit. They are also able to access their CU-Boulder financial aid package for the experience. Students interested in the CU in DC program should visit the WMI website and contact your CMCI department chair to learn more.
