Lucinda Shaffer received a B.S. in Genetics, Microbiology, and Psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience from the University of Georgia. She entered IQ Biology through the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Lucinda completed her first rotation in Ethan Hughes’s lab in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. She completed her second rotation in Nathan Belliveau’s lab in the Department of Biochemistry. Lucinda's third rotation was co-advised by Ding Xue and Mirela Alistar in the Departments of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Computer Science.
