Lily Slemp

Lily received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Trinity University. She is entering IQ Biology through the Department of Biochemistry. Lily completed her first rotation with Sara Sawyer in the Department of Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. Her second rotation was completed with Stephen Kissler in the Department of Computer Science. Lily completed her third rotation with Aaron Whiteley in the Department of Biochemistry. For her team rotation, she worked with three other IQ students in Ed Chuong and Sammy Ramsey's labs in the departments of Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Lily joined the Sawyer lab and the Department of Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology in May 2025.
