Laurel Robbins

Laurel received B.S. degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Lake Forest College. She entered IQ Biology through the Department of Biochemistry. Her first rotation was completed with Jerome Fox in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. Her second rotation was completed with Meciej Walczac in the Department of Chemistry. Her third rotation was completed with Aaron Whiteley in the department of Biochemistry. Her team rotation was with Kayla Sprenger and Sara Sawyer in the departments of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Laurel joined the Whiteley lab in May 2024.
