Ethan received a B.A. degree from Carthage College and majored in Mathematics and Physics. He is rostered in the department of Computer Science. Ethan completed his first lab rotation in Dr. David Bortz's lab in the Department of Applied Mathematics. He completed his second lab rotation in Dr. Franck Vernerey's lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Ethan completed his third lab rotation in Dr. Rebecca Safran's lab in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. For his fourth lab rotation, he worked two other IQ Biology students and Dr. Colin Campbell was their advisor. Ethan is advised by Franck Vernerey and Aaron Clauset.
