Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
Ellen received B.A. degrees in Environmental Studies and Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is entering IQ Biology through the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Ellen completed her first lab rotation in Dr. Orit Peleg’s lab in the Department of Computer Science. She completed her second lab rotation in Dr. Dan Doak's lab in the Environmental Studies program. Ellen completed her third lab rotation in Dr. Boswell Wing's lab in the Department of Geological Sciences. For her team rotation, Ellen worked with three other IQ Biology students on 'Team Termite' and Dr. Doak and Dr. Peleg were their advisors. Ellen joined the Doak lab in May 2020.
