Adam received a B.S. degree in Genetics from Iowa State University. He is entering IQ Biology through the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. Adam completed his first lab rotation with Dr. Brad Olwin and Dr. Robin Dowell in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Dr. Mary Allen who is part of the BioFrontiers Institute. He completed his second lab rotation in Dr. Ryan Layer's lab in the Department of Computer Science. Adam completed his third lab rotation in Dr. Edward Chuong's lab in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. For his team rotation, Adam worked with three other IQ Biology students on 'Team Virus' and Dr. Sawyer, Dr. Larremore and Dr. Diamond were their advisors. Adam joined the Chuong lab in May 2020.
