Redesign Test
This is an example of some redesign options to improve our sites searchability and navigation for our audience. This page could, hopefully, "take them on a journey" while trying to find what they are looking for...
There is currently a picture in the header for an example, but I actually think no photo would be best, so folks don't have to scroll far to get to our content.
Under "Search by Topic", these themes would match the themes on our "teaching resources" page and our "events" page, and those pages would be reformatted to match. I'd like to format those pages similar to how the "programs & services" page is currently formatted, with info tiles for each theme, and then a landing page for those themes that looks like the "Teaching Well with Technolgy" page, that more clearly outlines what is burried within those pages, and makes it easier to navigate through the resources we have.
Under "Take Action", the buttons icons would be linked to our services, and then the below tiles are just an example of another section that could be added and how it could be formatted. That section could be updated to include recommendations such as... Inclusivity Podcast, signature events, asyncrhonus course (like the anti-racism course) maybe even calls for applications, too. Anything that folks can participate in, or engage with, or sign up for (like the newsletter, etc.). We would want to avoid using it to share about innitiatives already undergoing though. Those are featured on the homepage already. The hope is this page would serve as less informational, and more of a "let's get started" guide.
