In case you haven’t heard, we wanted to spread the good news! Over the summer, Arts and Sciences Support of Education Through Technology (ASSETT) made the transition to become part of the Center for Teaching and Learning. While our mission, services and programming remain the same, we are now collaborating with staff in the CTL to offer more enhanced programming and support on a range of engaging, evidence-based, and innovative teaching and learning strategies.

ASSETT’s mission to provide support for integrating technology with pedagogy to promote impactful learning for all instructional personnel in the College of Arts & Sciences remains as strong as ever. Our staff are still available to consult with you on course designs, curriculum development, integrating effective and ethical uses of technology, digital literacy and pedagogy, authentic assessment, open education practices, and many other engaging teaching and learning topics.

Keep an eye out for our newsletter in mid-September that includes some exciting announcements and new offerings on gamification, inclusive data science and the quality teaching initiative. Best wishes for a wonderful semester and we look forward to working with you!
