The Stem Cell Research and Technology Resource Center is offering a new stem cell research opportunity for undergraduate students, the Stem cells for Undergraduate Research Engagement (SURE) Fellowship Program. The SURE Fellowship Program is a UROP-funded initiative that aims to enable CU Boulder undergraduates to undertake a research project utilizing human pluripotent stem cells. To this end, SURE fellows will:
- Be paired with a CU Boulder faculty mentor who will work with them on their own research project utilizing human pluripotent stem cells
- Be provided with hands-on training in culturing these cells at the Stem Cell Research and Technology Resource Center
- Actively participate in, and present their research at, related stem cell events at CU Boulder
For details and to apply, please see the SURE Fellowship Program application page. Application deadline has been extended to September 24, 2020!
If you are a CU Boulder faculty member who is interested in serving as a mentor to a SURE fellow, please contact the Center Director, Teisha Rowland.
