Other than NASA themselves...

...no organization in the US, university-based or otherwise, has flown the quantity and diversity of payload hardware as we have. Nearly all of the hardware flown in support of our partners was designed, built, tested, and flight-qualified within BioServe.

Part of CU Boulder.

As a university-based Center, education and training are a fundemental part of what we do. Students working with BioServe actively participate in and support Center research and hardware projects with direct hands-on learning. We train them in the engineering processes and procedures, hardware assembly, and support of operation of the research and hardware while active on board the ISS. Every student is involved in BioServe research project from start to finish and experience the complete life cycle of a project while working with us.

Our students are an integral part of the impactful research supported by the Center. Many of our past student-team members have been highly sought by NASA, Northrup Grumman and other Aerospace organizations post-graduation as a result of their educational experiences with BioServe.
