Pia Zeller is a native of Bern, Switzerland. She holds an M.A. in teaching German and B.A. in French from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Pia has been teaching German and French for over 25 years, with experience teaching students’ ages 4 – 70 years old. She is a co-founder of the Boulder School for German Language and Culture. Pia uses a communicative approach where students apply their new knowledge in a fun and enthusiastic environment. She serves as a tester for the Goethe Institute exams (Goethe-Zertifikat, A1, A2, B1). Pia enjoys the great Colorado outdoors, skiing, hiking and kayaking.
