María Rieder
- Lecturer of Spanish
María Rieder is a Spanish teacher and has been teaching for 14 years. She has taught conversation and Spanish 1010 at CU Boulder, K to 8th grade as well as continuing education for CU to help other Spanish teachers, and Spanish conversation during the summer. María likes to help students learn by being respectful with her students and energy to encourage the students to continue learning Spanish. She is always happy teaching because she knows how important it is to learn two or three languages. She is very patient with the students in the process of learning. She brings her culture to her class.
She studied at UNAM in Mexico to become an orthodontist but she could not practice in US so she chose instead to help students to learn with her passion for the language. In addition, she has a certificate from the Colorado Department of Education.
