Embracing Virtual Learning this Fall with Virtual Reality

ALTEC is introducing Virtual Reality in language learning this fall as part of our One Project! VR-based education provides students with a unique and fun learning experience. We partnered with ASSETT and language faculty this summer to prepare for a pilot using VR cardboard headsets in fall 2020 remote courses for Spanish 1010 MFLP, 1020 and 3200. We hope to take advantage of the technology while giving students the opportunity to engage and feel immersed in the content at home and feel connected to their class. We are excited to continue exploring VR and language learning.
