Fellows at Niwot Ridge 2016

*APPLY FOR THE TED SCRIPPS FELLOWSHIPS IN ENVIRONMENTAL JOURNALISM BY MARCH 1*

Are you a journalist ready to take your career to the next level? Come spend a year at the University of Colorado as a Ted Scripps Fellow. You’ll deepen your understanding of environmental issues, hone your craft, and enjoy a break from deadlines while living at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

As a fellow, you’ll audit classes and pursue an independent project of your own design. You’ll also attend weekly seminars and participate in field trips (to the National Center for Atmospheric Research, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and other world-renowned institutions) to learn what’s new in the realm of environmental science and policy.

Fellows receive a stipend of $71,000 and will travel (expenses paid) to the annual meetings of the Society of Environmental Journalists and National Association of Science Writers.

Learn more about the fellowship program here. You’ll find answers to common questions here. If you have additional questions, please contact the Program Coordinator.

Applications are due March 1. Click here for instructions.
