The Colorado Journal of Asian Studies is now accepting submissions! Submit by January 17, 2023.  

The Colorado Journal of Asian Studies invites undergraduate students from all Colorado universities and beyond to submit their work on Asia—from any discipline—to be considered for publication in our undergraduate research journal. The journal is interdisciplinary, meaning that research, scholarly articles, film and book reviews, creative writing, artwork, and photography will all be placed under consideration. Beginning in Spring 2023, the Journal is published in a digital edition. 

Please submit through our submission website.  

Please Register (create a username & password) on the site to submit your work. 
When you register:  For "Affiliation" you can list University of Colorado Boulder if you are affiliated with CU Boulder. 
Please Log in to submit additional work after you register. 

We accept submissions in each of the following categories: 

Creative Arts and Open Media (includes but not limited to: digital art, photography, music or audio, video, dance, documentaries, film, musical or theatrical or dance performances, set design, advertising, and art produced through other means) 
Environmental Design and Engineering 
Film Studies 
Gender & Ethnic Studies  
Humanities (includes: literature, philosophy, history, and other disciplines in the Humanities) 
Social Sciences (includes: geography, anthropology, sociology, international affairs, and other disciplines in the Social Sciences)
