Evolene Premillieu

Dr Evolene Premillieu is the Light Sheet Specialist at the Beckman Center for Advanced Light-Sheet Microscopy and Data Science. Her role is to facilitate data acquisition and analysis with light sheet microscopes. She will primarily collaborate with researchers from the Palmer, Anseth and Niswander labs in the first few years of the center before it becomes open to collaborations with other groups. Evolene received a BS and MS in fundamental physics at the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France, as well as an MS in education at the University of Montpellier, France before completing her PhD with Professor Rafael Piestun at CU Boulder. She joined the BioFrontiers Institute in March 2023.
