Danny Rankin is the director of the Whaaat!? Lab, and an Associate Teaching Professor in the Creative Technology & Design program. His work spans a diverse array of expertise, including graphic design, games & play, material fabrication, hardware hacking, sustainable agriculture and large-scale installation art.
Danny's games, often build in collaboration with the creative collective Mouse and the Billionaire, have been showcased worldwide at festivals like IndieCade, IndieCade EU, AMAZE, GDC, and XOXO.
His cooperative card game Ravine, which began in an ATLAS game design course, later became one of the most popular card game Kickstarters of 2017.
Rankin also mentors in the ATLAS BTU Lab. He holds a Master of Science from the ATLAS CTD program, and a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies from CU Boulder.
