PhD student • HCI, MUSIC, PLAYFUL INTERACTIONS
Darren Sholes is a techologist and musician. Before joining the ACME Lab at the ATLAS Institute, he worked as a researcher developing low-emission combustion technology at Lawrence Berkeley Lab, and most recently, nanosatellites at a Fraunhofer Institute in Freiburg, Germany. With his advisor, Ellen Do, at the ACME Lab, he hopes to conduct research related to human-computer-music interaction that encourages playfulness and connectedness, and promotes equitable access to music creation.
Darren Sholes is "on leave" from the ATLAS Institute.
