Announcing the Fall 2020 online forum for professional development in the arts

Students working in all disciplines are welcome to join the discussion

The Art & Art History department has invited arts leaders from around the region and CU Boulder alumni to share their knowledge and provide a direct link for students to learn about and discuss career-relevant topics. We invite all students to participate and pave a new pathway for a thriving career in the arts.

This program is designed as a series of professional development conversations that encourages skills development through peer-to-peer exchange. Topics will include: arts funding, museum standards and best practices, creative business plans, exhibition development, and many others. These discussions can help students examine the successes and challenges of working in the arts, build a community of future collaborators and engage in critical thinking about the role of the arts within our society.

  • Free to participate
  • No advanced registration is required
  • Participation from both graduate and undergraduate students is encouraged
  • Sponsored by the Student Advisory Board of the Department of Art & Art History
