Jules Jackson
- (He/Him)
- PAINTING & DRAWING
Jules Jackson (he/him) is a painter whose work explores the formation of self that begins before birth, and continues after death. Through self-portraiture, Jules processes the family lineage that made him who he is - and explores possible futures of what could happen in his lifetime. Building on a lifelong interest in cartoons, Jules explores a vision of the human body that bends, stretches, and transforms, with boundless potential.
In May 2023, Jules graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BFA in Painting and Drawing and a BS in Communication. His work was exhibited most recently in Illustrating a Point at Stove Works in Chattanooga, and Good Luck Jules at Coop Gallery in Nashville. His next solo exhibition, Vast Sea, Sleeping Mother, will open at the Neon Heater in Findlay, Ohio in April 2026.
