Painting & Drawing
Hannah Purvis grew up in Houston, Texas and she received her BFA with a concentration in Painting from Texas State University in 2021. Currently living and working in Boulder, Colorado she combines figurative elements with abstraction and uses Painting to explore a fractured identity. She is interested in themes that relate to our advancing technology that combines portraits and figure painting with influences of the digital. Hannah has shown her work throughout the greater Austin area with most recently having a solo exhibition at Spellerberg Gallery in Lockhart, Texas. She is now pursuing her MFA focusing on painting and drawing at The University of Colorado, Boulder.
