Carolyn Click is a graduate student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, specializing in East Asian Art History, specifically contemporary Japanese expression. Her primary method of examination stresses cross-cultural comparison within and without Japan. While an undergraduate at the University of Central Oklahoma, she received degrees in Art History and Forensic Science, highlighting her attraction to connections between seemingly dissimilar subjects. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma, she was also a member of the school’s Undergraduate Research Board which helped advertise the importance of student involvement in producing academic scholarship.
As a new member of the Art and Art History Graduate Student Advisory Board at CU, she intends to bring the same level of global awareness and involvement to future research as she embarks on her M.A. at the University of Colorado. Additionally, she is also a research assistant for the visiting scholar program.
