Ayuj Consul

Ayuj Consul (b. 2000) works with writing, image-making and time-based art. After graduating from Chapman University with a BFA in TV Writing and Production, he worked as an Assistant Film Curator at Cornucopia Pictures, Mumbai and Italian Cultural Center, New Delhi. Eventually, a desire to re-learn filmmaking with a new approach led him to work at the CPB Darkroom, Chennai, a film lab and community darkroom. His practice is shaped by working in the darkroom and often involves an approach of chemical, material and/or camera experimentation. His work has been exhibited at Arthshila (Ahmedabad, India) and CPB Foundation (Chennai, India).
