Ashley Ivye

Ashley Ivye [she/her/hers] is an artist whose work draws heavily from dreams, folk symbols, fairy tales, and impressions from childhood. Much of her work depicts beasts and nature, investigating the ways in which humanity is animalistic. She often uses more than one medium in her pieces, layering combinations of charcoal, pastel, ink, pencil, watercolor, and gouache. Born in Georgia, Ashley has also lived and exhibited work in Texas, as well as Colorado, where she is pursuing an MFA at CU Boulder
