Outdoor Program

Outdoor Program provides a gateway for students to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors. Learn to rock and ice climb, kayak, or take a trip to use your new scuba skills.

The goals of the Outdoor Program are to provide an experience emphasizing adventure, environmental awareness, education, challenge, safety, and a sense of community and enjoyment. We offer a wide variety of trips and events at all levels, from beginning instruction to technical seminars and clinics. These programs are offered for recreation center members only.

Personalize it!

The Outdoor Program offers individual/small group instruction and can create personalized trips for any occassion. Please call the Outdoor Program (303)492-6080 to set up your next trip.

All or part of the CU Outdoor program is conducted on public lands under special permit from the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife, and Jefferson County Open Space.
