Veteran Summer Bridge Program

The Office of Veteran Services will launch a Veteran Summer Bridge Program in August 2017.  The program is designed to assist student veterans in acclimating to the CU Boulder campus, while enhancing math, writing, and research skills in an intensive and supportive academic environment.

Program Details

Dates:  August 6-18, 2017
Program Opening: August 6, Time TBD
Course and Campus Instruction: August 7-11 and 14-18, 9 AM to 2 PM, with optional afternoon/evening tutoring
Included: Most meals (breakfast and lunch) for the duration of the program, all necessary classroom supplies, and early access to campus amenities such as the rec center and library
Cost: free for all accepted attendees

Program Highlights

Daily instruction in math, with a focus on refreshing and building math skill
Daily instruction in academic writing and research skills
Instruction and hands-on learning time with campus computing systems
Introduction to campus support offices, including Career Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Financial Aid, Veteran Services, and more
Connection with the CU Boulder Student Veteran Association and Veteran Ambassador Program
