Nicole leads business development for Venture Partners at CU Boulder, connecting our innovators with the global business community, enabling our great inventions to make an impact in society by accelerating the time from lab to market.
Prior to joining CU Boulder, Nicole was the program manager at KTH Innovation at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Previous to her position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, she was head of new business for the North American marketplace at an industrial technology company and has also been the head of customer engagement for a medical device startup based in Stockholm.
Nicole is currently a board member of the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA). She is also a board member of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in the USA (SACC USA) and president of the Colorado chamber (SACC CO).
Nicole has a Master’s in environmental science from Lund University and has a specialization in entrepreneurship and business strategy from the Wharton School. Nicole is also the co-author of a book on innovation and sustainability in capital cities, revealing Stockholm's "secret sauce" and how the city has achieved substantial economic growth while significantly reducing its greenhouse gas emissions through innovation.
