Tony Bastone has been named the director of career services for the University of Colorado School of Law, pending approval by the CU Board of Regents.
Bastone is a former assistant dean for the office of career services at Southern Methodist University School of Law. He has also served in career services offices for law schools at the University of Washington, Golden Gate University and the University of Tulsa.
Bastone has a masters degree in criminology and corrections from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
Dean Harold Bruff is excited about having Bastone join the law school's professional team. I'm confident that students, alumni and the law school will be well served by Mr. Bastone's leadership in the field of career services. He received high grades from our students during the search process and I know they're looking forward to working with him.
Bastone joins Suzanne Holmes and Laurie Albright, who serve as career counselors to students and alumni of the law school.
