Hank Brown, CU President, and Bud Peterson, Chancellor of CU-Boulder, are supporting the SEI efforts with an annual budget of $1M/year for 5 years (2006-2010). The majority of these funds are distributed to support science education improvement efforts at the department level. The funded departments are selected through a competitive proposal process.
