Emergence: Exploring Quantum Technology Through Music and Dance

Curious about quantum? Don't miss Emergence: Exploring Quantum Technology Through Music and Dance—a multimedia performance designed to make quantum science accessible, relevant, and inspiring for all ages. Featuring a quantum physicist from NIST (as seen on NOVA!), musicians from Grande Orquesta Navarre, and accomplished tango dancers, the show will blend physics demos with live music and dance performances to illustrate quantum science concepts.
Saturday, November 14, 2026
6–8pm
Boulder Public Library, Canyon Theater
1001 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO 80302
The performance begins at 7pm, but come early to join us for hands-on quantum activities and demonstrations, beginning at 6pm.
This event would not be possible without a few key partners. Many thanks to Tara Fortier (NIST), Sue Cahill (CU Boulder School of Music and Grande Orquesta Navarre) and PACES for providing a Community Outreach Grant in support of the event.
