The Katherine J. Lamont Scholarship

This Arts and Sciences scholarship was established by the bequest of Katherine J. Lamont and is a variable annual monetary award available to a continuing Arts & Sciences student with sophomore or junior standing, in recognition of sustained excellence and exceptional scholarly performance in their chosen major. Awards are made in May of each year. Each A&S department determines eligibility internally, so students do not need to apply for this scholarship, consideration is automatic for qualified students.

Jacob Van Ek Award

One of the highest honors in CU’s College of Arts & Sciences, the award recognizes superior academic achievement and outstanding contributions to the University and/or the Boulder Community.  To be eligible for the Van Ek Award, a student must currently be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more) in the College of Arts and Sciences as an undergraduate student, must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and cannot have won the award previously. All undergraduates are eligible and upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) will be given stronger consideration.
