Sierra Rose is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Student-AI Teaming (iSAT). Since joining iSAT, she has graduated with her M.S. in Data Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Her main work at iSAT is supporting education through data collection and AI implementation in classrooms. She also supports various coding efforts such as the Collaborative Problem Solving Framework. Her skills include protocol design and data collection and analysis. Outside of STEM education, her passions include video games, reading, crocheting, and hiking (especially with her dog, Carter).
Before joining iSAT, Sierra was a research assistant for the Emotive Computing Lab - also at the Institute of Cognitive Science at University of Colorado, Boulder - and the Dolphin Cognition Lab at the University of California, San Diego. Sierra holds a B.S. in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
