We sent this email on February 29, 2024, to students whose incomplete Spring 2024 residency was closed due to inaction.

Dear [first],

We have reviewed the petition and supporting documents you submitted for Spring 2024. After our initial review, we requested additional documentation or clarification regarding your residency petition. This request was sent to you by email and was noted in Buff Portal as a to-do item.

Because you did not submit the required documentation, your petition is now closed and will no longer be processed. Petition closures are final and may not be appealed.

If you believe that you qualify for in-state tuition classification, you are encouraged to petition for a future term. You must submit a new petition and include all required supporting documents within the published deadlines.
