Dear [first],

Your College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend can't be applied to your bill because you didn't include your Social Security number (SSN) in your COF application.

As a reminder, COF was created by the Colorado Legislature to pay a portion of total in-state tuition for eligible undergrads. There's no limit to the number of students who receive it, and you never have to pay it back.

To Correct Your Record

To resolve this error, follow our step-by-step instructions to update your record by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Do not email anything containing your SSN. Doing so could put you at high risk for identity theft.

We'll securely send your information to College Assist. Once the error is resolved, follow our instructions to authorize COF by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
