Instructor/advisor preferred name has officially been added as a name type to Campus Solutions. This name will display in downstream systems, including CU Boulder Class Search, Buff Portal, Buff Portal Advising and MyCUInfo's Faculty Toolkit tab.
Instructors/advisors who wish to update their preferred name in Campus Solutions should email a completed Instructor & Advisor Preferred Name Update Form to registrar@colorado.edu. To learn more, see Your Information & Records.
Human Resources is also allowing faculty and staff to change their preferred name in the HR information system (HCM). For details, see HR's preferred name page.
