Graduate degrees awarded
The department awarded 9 advanced degrees this spring, 5 master's degrees and 4 PhDs. All of our graduate areas of study are PhD programs, so unless life intervenes all of our master's students will continue on to their PhDs.
Latin Honors graduates
The Honors Program in CU Boulder's College of Arts & Sciences is one of the few nationally that requires students to write a research thesis and then defend it orally before a committee of faculty.
Undergraduate and graduate student departmental award winners
Due to the generosity of donors to the department now and in the past, the department is fortunate to be able to offer several monetary awards to undergraduate and graduate students in recognition of their academic excellence in research and teaching.
