CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Emeritus Al Ramírez and his late spouse Vera are being honored in February by CU Boulder by having a building named after them. Al and Vera spent years advocating for underrepresented groups on campus. For their efforts the Chancellor will request that the Regents rename "Temporary Building 1" (an oxymoron if there ever was one since this building has been around for decades) rename this building after the Ramírezes at their February meeting.
