yoni asharCU Psychology and Neuroscience graduate student Yoni Ashar (Clinical, mentored by Sona Dimidjian and Tor Wager) was in the public eye, giving a presentation entitled "New Perspectives on Chronic Pain" at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder on Tuesday, June 11. He spoke about these new perspectives on addressing chronic pain with no drugs or surgery based on neuroscience and clinical research he's been doing for several years. He also spoke about a documentary he's involved in on the subject and showed early clips from the documentary. Read more about the presentation and documentary.
