CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Yuko Munakata (Cognitive) and graduate student Jade Yonehiro (Cognitive) were in the news with an article about some public outreach they're doing in a partnership with the Children's Museum of Denver. The article appears on CU's Public Outreach and Community Engagement website, which is supporting the endeavor in part. The project involves assisting parents and caregivers of young children gain a better understanding of impulse control through the use of hands-on activities for their children. They are also given the opportunity to participate in a research study examining impulse control in kids. Read the article.
