Class project photoThree CU students created a public service announcement (PSA) about the language commonly used regarding mental illness as part of a class project for their Abnormal Psychology class taught by CU Psychology and Neuroscience Assistant Professor June Gruber (Clinical). The PSA, published on YouTube, points out the stigmatizing effects of the casual use of words like "schizo" and "psycho." Read more about their project in the Colorado Arts & Sciences Magazine article on the subject, where you can also find a link to their PSA on YouTube.
