Brain Behavior Clinic receives State Senate commendation
The CU Psychology and Neuroscience's Brain Behavior Clinic (BBC), in the Raimy Clinic (Emily Richardson, director) received a commendation from the Colorado State Legislature earlier this month. The commendation is “for providing people experiencing homelessness with free cognitive evaluations and offering assistance to ensure they receive any necessary disability benefits. Thank you for partnering with the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless and for providing this vital service. We acknowledge the positive impact the clinic has made in the lives of Boulder residents who are unable to afford cognitive testing. This tribute is presented on behalf of the State of Colorado.” For more information about the program that resulted in the commendation, see the news item about the program from a few weeks ago.
