CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Sona Dimidjian (Clinical) was in the news because of some recently published research in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. The study showed that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) was more effective than conventional treatments for preventing postpartum depression (conventional treatments include psychotherapy and antidepressants).
