 CU Psychology and Neuroscience postdoctoral researcher and recent departmental PhD Alexis Northcutt was in the popular press for her research demonstrating a potential way through the immune system to block the addictive effects of cocaine (and possibly other drugs). Co-authors were several CU faculty, postdocs, and a graduate student in the department, as well as former CU postdoc Mark Hutchinson, now a full professor at the University of Adelaide in Australia.
