Cultivating Positive Mentoring Relationships

Graduate Teacher Program (GTP) Workshop

Student mentoring and advising in higher education is a critical component of the academic experience at all degree levels, from undergraduates to post-doctoral research associates. In this session, we will discuss best practices in mentoring students at all levels, which will include advising students as future faculty.

Interviewing

A  Teaching Institute for Graduate Education Research (TIGER) Workshop presented by Office of Postdoctoral Affairs Director Dr. Leah Colvin.

Whether you are interviewing for an academic or nonacademic position, behavior-based interview questions are becoming the norm. In this workshop, you will learn to employ the STAR technique to answer behavior-based interview questions by drafting answers to common interview questions.
