About
Housed under the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) and created in 2015, the mission of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) is to enhance and support postdoctoral training and career development, help build a sense of community among postdocs, and serve as a resource to campus and affiliated National Labs.
The OPA, in collaboration with the Postdoctoral Association of Colorado (PAC) Boulder, offers a number of workshops to aid in your career development. The office provides resources to postdocs and their mentors on a variety of topics, including career planning, professional skill development and job applications, and can help connect you with a variety of campus resources.
The OPA sponsors your membership in the National Postdoctoral Association, and serves as a resource to connect you to local resources to aid in your training and enhance your life at CU Boulder.
CU Boulder values diversity and fosters inclusive excellence by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, deepening our ability to share and engage with diverse perspectives, and maximizing success and inclusion of all postdocs, faculty, students, and staff.
