OPA recently launched the Peer Mentoring Program and are in need of postdoc mentors! Mentors will develop leadership, communication and confidence skills—all beneficial when seeking jobs. Mentors need not to know everything, and will likely conversely learn from mentees. Postdoc mentors can register directly here. To facilitate the first mentor-mentee meeting, OPA is offering a complimentary meal card that can be used at a variety of campus locations and mentoring strategies/resources.
OPA Sponsoring Participation in Virtual NPA Conference
OPA is pleased to sponsor, on a first come, first served basis, access for 20 postdocs to the virtual National Postdoctoral Association Conference on April 28-29, 2022. CU Boulder postdocs can register by completing this form. Topics will include mentoring, revitalizing postdoc associations, grant/proposal writing, cultural adjustment and international postdocs and many more.

BenchPress Seeks Postdoc Mentors for Scientific Writing
Organized by CU Boulder’s Biological Sciences Initiative, BenchPress is seeking postdocs to mentor undergraduate researchers with scientific writing and research publications. BenchPress will broaden access to those who publish by partnering with CU undergraduate research (UR) programs to make the process of scientific writing and publishing open to more students. Postdocs interested should register here by April 15.
