Research Interests:
Professor Reznik's research focuses on using neutron, x-ray, and Raman scattering to investigate the physics of correlated electrons and electron-phonon coupling in perovskite oxides (including high Tc supercondcutors, manganites, etc.) and other exotic materials.
The group of Prof. Reznik investigates complex solids by neutron, x-ray and Raman scattering. Of particular interest are exotic magnetic phases, electron-phonon interactions in perovskite oxides, and polaronic physics. The neutron and x-ray work is conducted at user facilities worldwide such as the Spallation Neutron Source and Advanced Photon Source. We recently constructed state-of-the-art ultra-fast UV-capable Raman laboratory in Boulder for measuring electronic excitations and phonons in quantum materials.
